I’m coding my turn-based RPG game as we’ve talked about earlier. I made the movement system and it’s not going bad so far. I can’t decide if I should allow sight to be omniscient, meaning all troops can always see all troops, or have them invisible until they’re in your line of sight.
Your welcome, I have plenty to give.
nothing yet
I don’t know who everyone is… /j
Leave the project and go back in. It seems to have been a glitch. I also took the liberty of checking the project builder, and none of the images were corrupted.
If this persists, then make a bug report saying that every image went missing on the older player versions.
I just played the project in the modded player, and the missing images isn’t permanent. You might have just gotten unlucky…
You do know that’s my game, right?
Easy fix in 4 easy steps:
- Unpublish
- Upgrade to Latest Player Version
- You will have to change all of your (+) operators to use JOIN for the ones that join multiple strings of numbers or else you might get a bug where the text doesn’t update properly.
- Re-publish
I’m going to make a side project that’ll take advantage of the new join block. It won’t be as cool as the projects @Tri-Angle made, but it’ll be somewhat good…
wha lol
would be quite an interesting challenge - maybe not this week but i will be sure to try that at the end of the week (unlike what i thought this week ill be pretty busy (← @nobody :( ))
I don’t think anyone who knows how to code in JavaScript will say it is easier than hopscotch.
hopscotch is definitely more easy but some advanced features not available in hs makes me turn towards js still
Ohh didn’t realize
Well, your typewriter is 1 million times better than what I just made, lol.
Probably a while yet but sure
has anyone seen the new blocks?
edit: yes they have! trail opacity isn’t working for me.
Hmm…
Who else thinks there should an object trait variable for “Trail Opacity”?
The latest I see is 1.5.26, lol
Reply to all:
I’m going to update my game to be compatible with the new blocks (using player 1.5.26). It’ll take me a while since I’ll have to replace most of my addition operator based text concatenations with the join text operator…
Whoops my bad – it is 1.5.26
