Not to be rude or pushy, feel free to tell me if you don’t have an answer to this, but do you think more people will be able to apply for the seed block by this spring? I’m just curious into how far in the future this will be. Sorry if this seems rude btw

Since I can’t be sure when the blurry image bug will be fixed, I used the old beta version to upload all of the images I planned for WWC in advance, just in case it takes several months for the bug to get fixed. I only have 10 days left before I get can’t access it anymore, so I might as well… Once the project is live, I will need another user to look into the project and make sure everything is actually there… I got the Menus (including numbers, Button size, and a bunch of others), Star Fragments, the Trampoline tile, etc.

I uploaded 35 more custom images into the game, and the total images it has is 131.

Note: some will be hard to spot immediately…

EDIT: I just added the Blue Tile with X, or as I like to call it: The Vanish Block, in advance.

Any ideas for what the goal should look like would be much appreciated.

  • Hopscotch currently has a bug where images are blurry (mostly due to a change in how they are imported) when importing them into a project.
  • WWC stands for When Worlds Collide
  • I used the beta version (3.56.0 build 7356) to import the images, as it was the last build version before the bug occurred.

Ok. Inspired by @Spy_Guy_96’s goal in Raccoon with a Broom, I decided to make a Coin Bonus for the goal. I also designed and added the Hidden Gem that will be added in every level. All that’s left are the rest of the enemies…

Released [Beta 18a]

Changes:

  • Selecting tiles in the inventory is now much easier
  • Removed 2 images with a slightly visible backing (old way of being able to select certain tiles)
  • The inventory will now only close when selecting a tile, leaving Level Creator, playing the level, choosing Pick-Tile, successfully importing / sharing the level (without any errors), and confirming the creation of a new level.

Additions:

  • Added tiles for the Coin Bonus, Hidden Gem, and a bunch of others in advance
    • Note: they are not yet available in the inventory. They will be added in a later version.

I just created a little music lag test project. It might come in handy later…

This tests how well the start sound and play note blocks can perform when playing 8 at once 20 times in very quick successions…

Obviously, music doesn’t play at this speed, but any amount of speed will cause it to drop in frames (especially if there are other things going on that also lower the frame-rate a little)…

@t1_hopscotch this project might be useful in certain cases… I can also adjust the player version as needed…

That’s 25 tiles so far, with more to come (mostly enemies and decorations)

What are some other tiles you would like to see? I will have to create an updated tile data value.

Note: I’m still not doing any TNT blocks like in Raccoon with a Broom’s Level Editor.

This is your last chance to share your ideas. After 9 days, I will no longer be able to add crisp images, and the game will be postponed until the blurry image bug is fully fixed.
