as long as you dont exceed 2^{200}+1 characters, the algorithm will always find the x within a frame :)
(it looks like 19ms is slightly slow, might be caused by the fact the program just started to run a frame ago. try pressing on the restart button and itāll very probably give you something like āfound in 10msā)

No, it was 30-33 ms first run, but after that itās 17-20 ms (still fast!)

using variables, or if youāre doing this multiple time, use a global array

It basically searches both from the start and end of the string and meets in the middle.

in fact, it starts from the middle, and focusses to the left if thereās something that matches there, or to the right if thereās no result. the number of steps that the algorithm will take will be log \space n, so mathematically it will be impossible the algorithm takes more than a frame to run if you dont exceed jsās safe limit

Remember what the old Thumbnail looked like? The new one is many times better.
Unfortunately, the project is still in the filter due to the project containing the seed block. I have notified Yuanyuan and t1 about it, but they might still be unavailable to recover my project until further noticeā¦
I will push a small update to STAR-LINK to fix some missing and/or blurry images once the main blurry image bug has been resolved.

I think youāre talking about this bug thatās been reported a while ago:
In the future, you should also try to search through the #hopscotch-bugs category, and create a topic if you canāt find a bug that matches your description. That way, it doesnāt get lost in the YCTAYHCH topics, and are actually seen by THT so that they can get fixed.
