You Can Talk About Hopscotch Here; Topic 30 [OFFICIAL]

Maybe I should make a huge project that’ll visually explain how each and every block works. While the current help docs are helpful enough to get young users started, a visual representation will make it that much easier to understand.

If you have an idea for a new feature, let’s say I’m thinking of global variables. I want to create a topic about it, but when I created it I suddenly see there’s already a topic about this! Then that topic isn’t really necessary, so if you create a topic, always search if there already is a topic or a discussion about that!

Oh ok that makes a huge more sense

On the forum?

You can either click on the smiley face button here:

And then you need to scroll to the bottom, you’ll see Hopscotch characters, and you can simply press on the character you want!

Or you can type:

:hs_hopscotchcharacternamegoeshere: (With the double dots)

Example:

:hs_gorilla:

You can test features on the forum here by the way!

(Including Hopscotch character stickers, so it would be better if you test them there.)

If you join a group (my group name is in my bio), you can go to your preferences, then to your account (you’re automatically already in there, you don’t actually have to do anything), then scroll down, and you will see a text called ‘Flair’, and you can get the profile picture of the group. If you don’t understand, I can be more specific.

Also, it could be you won’t see that button because you’re not a member or a regular yet.

Edit: Thanks for joining my group! You will be tagged for announcements, beta testing topics, large projects, and questions!
