@aadenboy go into Level Creator, open the inventory and click “exit.” Does it do anything (other than fade to white)? Does it go to the menu, or does it say stuck as a white screen? I want to ensure the exit option works for all users.
Heads to the menu
Awesome! So it works. Glad to hear.
Here one of my projects that got affected (unfortunately I cannot unpublish it to fix the images, due to obvious reasons).
It does look normal at first, but if you go into Settings and tap “Low Graphics” (switches to HD Grahpics), the screen turns completely white (on the modded player) / shows as a placeholder image (on the app).

UUID = 11mfoqcktv (@Awesome_E can you edit the link above so it opens this project on load? I forgot how to). done
The affected image is under Menus >> BackgroundMenu (the second object in the list) >> first when game starts rule. The affect image will show up as [?].

This is what I see, btw:
dude okay i wanna know how you did that
Did what? /conf
That automatically happens when the link is invalid. You’re supposed to open the project builder on its own, then tap open and insert the url.
oh
i did not know that
ha ha
There is a way to load a url with the url, but I don’t remember how. That’s why I asked Awesome_E to edit the link for me.
Also, your link takes them to the modded player (play project), which can’t be brought into edit mode.
crosby yooo i wanna expierement something so im wondering how to add keyboard controls to game
With this:
_ae_webplayer_action: {"name": "checkKey","args": []}
I have this set as a text replacement. I just need to type \k_any
to get the full argument. Just insert the keyboard key codes inside the []
separated by commas, no spaces. (yes, the brackets are required, even for just one value). Example: _ae_webplayer_action: {"name": "checkKey","args": [17]}
= Checks for the [CTRL] key
and were do i put this in?
In order for any of this to work, you’ll need to get the secret blocks via the Hopscotch Project Builder
You’ll find a (»( )) block in a set variable block. That’s where all the webplayer actions go. @Awesome_E can provide more details if you’re still confused.
Hey everyone!
Should I focus on music and becoming big/popular, or should I become a professional game developer with hopscotch and later use other programs.
