You Can Talk About Hopscotch Here; Topic 30 [OFFICIAL]

if your new file in File app is id-2.hopscotch, and you have a file called id.hopscotch, copy the latter file’s name, delete that file, and paste the name to the id-2 file. Close File and hopscotch apps, and reopen hopscotch to access to the new draft

What’s a latter file and what if I just have one file for the project? I don’t have 2 I think

last

then two possibilities

  1. you edited the file correctly
  2. the file didn’t save

from what i read i think it’s the latter possibility - not sure what you did wrong

I did that and I still have only one file

Yeah it’s supposed to override an existing file with the same name. That’s how you get the project data to update in the app

But it’s not showing up in the app

Did you save it to iPad > Hopscotch > json_projects? If so, did you close the project in the app before overriding the file?

No I didn’t, maybe that’s why (hopefully it is because I’ve spent 4 hours in this)

Could I just move it to there or should I restart the process?

You might be able to override it, but if it’s a small modification you made in HS project builder, I would just restart the process
