yep thats fine!
how do you rename variables with the not-really-new update?
i believe you hold it down in the keyboard section thing, and there’s a ‘rename’ button
yes thats what i thought it was but now its the “info” popup
wait how?
what lol?
not rly new update?
You don’t get an actual tag but you get a symbol with a little arrow, unless you have those notifications turned off ofc
this one
oh i see
i always have this notif because i have the whole forum being set on watching (except #random-stuff:writers-nook)
@Nobody hmm weird, lmk the variable and its new name and leave the project, i’ll go renaming it
ok
i commented information and am out of the account
maybe wait a few minutes before entering just to make sure it uploads
done
seems like every variables you were using except the cloning one got deleted
i didnt have to wait bc if it wasn’t uploaded i won’t be able to see your draft
odd
are you on the newest version of hs?
yep
howd you rename them?
wait, you asked to delete them in the project-
rename was on the top of delete for me
oh yeah sorry, i mean for either option—the only thing that appears for me when i long-press is the help doc
hmm very weird
just tag me each time you want to rename/delete lol
thats really weird, it works like normal on my account
sus… oh ik it might be this Never gonna give u up lol u got rickrolled ya its this i think so (its a secret look at the title or the blur to find out lol)
Back to the topic. @Cutedogs1Forum is back to the topic. Anyways u coding? (dont do what I did tho lol)
Are you trying to delete Local Variables? Just remove the references and declaration, and it’ll just disappear. They cannot be deleted like other variables.
Although, I did run into a little bug. When deleting a variable, sometimes another variable that was referenced in the bubble before the variable would disappear
Step 1: create a variable
Step 2: place it in a set block
Step 3: create another variable
Step 4: replace the old variable with the new
Step 5: delete the old variable
Step 6: become confused as the new variable disappears after you tap out of the block, even though that variable still exists
Also happens when you delete a variable of a different type (local, object, game, and user)
Just reported this issue.
