You can spam like your own projects infinitely

I don’t think it matters for this bug but an iPad (6th generation)

1 sentence description of the problem (I was doing _________, and then __________ happened):
I created a guest account and liked a project. When I return to my main account, the likes increased by 1. This means that someone can spam like their own project infinite times.
Steps that the Hopscotch team can take to reproduce my problem every time:

  1. Creat a guest account
  2. Like a project
    ….

I expected this to happen:
Not to be able to like a project on a guest account
But instead this happened:
I can.
Here’s a sweet screenshot:

Idk if this was intentional or not but :man_shrugging:

Hmm, indeed guest accounts shouldn’t be able to like projects…

Guest accounts shouldn’t be able to like, personally.

Yes, why can guest accounts like projects?

Guest accs are just for new prospective hops to get the feel of hs. They can try coding and whatnot and also start getting involved in the community; just like any other hop.
They should be able to show appreciation for projects they like by using the like button. I don’t see a problem with this.

Sure people can and will misuse it, but that stuff happens anyway. No way to patch every loophole

I guess that makes sense.
