You can now CREATE, EDIT, and PUBLISH projects in the Web Explorer! 🤩

That’s awesome! I love the design! And I’m excited to try it with the project builder plugin too :)

Oops, what I meant is that on Firefox, it throws an error when you drag out a block, preventing use of the editor unless you reload. Kind of urgent, and the topic goes over it in more detail haha

Would it have to be started in the web explorer or can i finish half in the web explorer?

Either way is fine – just try to incorporate the launch somehow!

Ok, and if i may ask for something im doing completely unrelated lol how does the login work? For example azure b2c, self made ,etc….

So wait if I make a game on the webplayer it should incorporate the launch? I thought we could just make a game

Or am I reading it wrong and you just have to use the webplayer some how

You can make anything – I was just encouraging them to make something related but that won’t affect judging

i think that may be a secret factor :eyes:

Excellent work Ethan!

Awesome! @Awesome_E, there’s no ā€˜When Object is Cloned’ in the web editor, which makes cloning impossible, which makes creating a good game for the comp incredibly difficult!

Oh no! it’s not a complete fix but using broadcast message each time you create a clone might be able to partially fix it temporarily.

Is their a way to copy and paste blocks and objects?

Not yet, unfortunately…

Wow. I’m currently the only one (other than Awesome_E) who coded a useful project (other than saying it’s a cool feature) on the web.

This project will make you say ā€œHow?!ā€ /hj

Note: (in its current form) it’s only accurate in the GMT timezone.

You could even go a step further and make an entire calendar in Hopscotch without having to do as much hard-coding.

I might actually do just that. All I would need to do is get the day of week in one’s timezone, then use that as reference to position it to exactly where it needs to be for the current month and year. (And highlight the current day as an added bonus, and maybe make it live as well).

I mean it just was made in the past 13 hours lol but still pretty cool

Yeah…

I can’t wait to see what awesome (e) projects people will create on the web. I bet projects will be spewing in after the whole publishing issue (on the web) is fixed (that was mostly a hyperbole).

EEEK
THIS IS SO GREAT
excietment overload mines glitching tho ;-; I can’t remix the projects (I mean I can, but when it comes to pressing the ā€˜ :white_check_mark:’ button, it doesn’t publish ;-; but good job @Awesome_E !
