Would you rather...?

Heya Hops!

Welcome to Would You Rather!
For those of you unfamiliar with the game, you’ll be presented with two funky options and have to vote for the one you would prefer to do/have.
A leader will post a poll every day with the WYR question, and you just have to vote! You’re welcome to explain your take as well.

Here’s an example!

looks like I’m alone in the #debug-my-code category!
- what’s everyone’s thoughts on staying in the other?

Not anymore!

I had a lot of experience with debugging projects on my own, so I never had a reason to post in the #debug-my-code category. But being able to post in the #hopscotch-bugs category means you can post bugs that only The Hopscotch Team can fix.

alternatively, if you can never post in debug, you can also never help anyone else with their code

Hmm, good point…

I literally have played “Would You Rather?” recently.

then technically you couldnt post in hopscotch bugs since you would be trying to help tht with their code

@LunaLovegood - I see you’re in the same boat, any plans for today’s chaos?

I’m not sure, I might prank one of my friends–we’re going to meet later today. What about you? And do you have any ideas as to what pranks I could play?

with such a crazy few years, it can be hard to catch someone - but maybe april fools is just what everyone needs too!

maybe some mind bending questions, like the one about toast!
what happens to something in oil in the oven → roast
what’s talking about yourself all the time → boast
what do you put in a toaster → they might say toast, but the answer should be bread!

we’ve some plans for the forum, some already in motion :eyes:

@WYR, heres a long one for the weekend! have some discussions for this one

would you rather:
  • be stuck in a broken ski lift
  • … or a broken elevator?

elevator has less breathable air and is more crowded than a ski lift (normally)

I’m guessing some of the reasons would be due to claustrophobia (fear of small spaces), or due to acrophobia (fear of heights).

I have neither of those, luckily…

i don’t ever really want it to happen, but part of me kind of wants to get stuck in an elevator someday
i feel like it would be such an iconic story to have
but it would also be terrifying

I’ve been stuck on a broken ski lift before, my friend and I yelled at our other friend in the lift behind us for a while, easy peasy

Also I’m claustrophobic so there’s that :PP
