When Is Not Tapped Block

A feature I’d like to see in Hopscotch is: a when is not tapped magenta block

I’d use it for this type of project: Any

Here are some examples of Hopscotch code that could be improved if we had this: It’d be just as helpful as the when is not pressed block, which I think is pretty helpful. So basically, it’s just like the magenta block when is not pressed, but when is not tapped. This might already be in beta but I’m not sure.

Here is an example design I’ve made:

I’ve seen something similar in another programming languages, it looks like this: It’s kinda in the hopscotch language, but not really. I don’t know how else to explain it.

My thoughts exactly…

That’s “When touch ends”, which is slightly different because it means that the device has to be tapped/pressed/touched before for it to execute the code. This one is for “When not tapped”, which is more similar to the “When not pressed” block

Hope that kinda helped? Not the best explanation but

So, it’s like a combination of “when not pressed” and “when game starts”?

why would this help? it’s basically the same as when is pressed, no?

There’s already one in beta called when touch ends, but I’d like it so you can choose which object to set it too. Currently, it runs wherever an iPad touch ends and we can’t change it.

But it may come out of beta soon

What does this even do

That’s why I said:

Yes… it may…

No because when is not tapped is when that object is not tapped so if it’s tapped it’s a one second thing because when you tap it’s not press. (I hope you understand)

I do, but a tap is a quick press, isn’t it?

Hmmm maybe

@Dragongirl1264 it plays the code inside the mengenta block when something is not tapped

Wait, how is “when is not tapped” different then “when is not pressed”?
