Sorry if that sounded like bragging!

I'm just comparing 800 digits to an infinite amount of them. That's why I said "only".

Actually, it isn't. It is what most schools use because it's small and easy to manipulate and is very close to pi, accurate to 3 decimal places. But, 333/106 is accurate to 4, 104348/33215 is accurate to 8, and 80143857/25510582 is accurate to 14. You could even go further! But who wants to multiply by such big numbers, when you can calculate the circumference of the earth within an inch only using 22/7ths? :stuck_out_tongue:

#30

Pi is a circles circumference(perimeter, or the actually circle part) divided by is diameter, the length from two opposite side of a circle. Subsequently the circumference of a circle is DiameterxPi.
Pi is a number, rounded to 3.14.16 Thus, today is Pi day!

Here's some formulas...:smiling_imp:
Radiusx2xPi=circumference.
RadiusxRadiusxPi= Area of a circle!

#31

This year, it was my turn to make our Pi day pie :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

#32

did you eat it? do you think its good? Sry but it looks a LITTLE BURNT!

#36

Wrong! I heard that there's at least 100,000 digits! :smiley:

#37

Lol :joy: That's like the opposite for me!

#38

It's infinite :wink:

That's how many he knows, or memorized I assume.
(Psst...that's insane XD)

#39

The digits are infinite

#40

I've gotta get those Hopscotch stickers! :yum:
