What does "mean" mean?

So, in my opinion, the forum is getting out of hand.

I'm really tired of people accusing others of being rude.

What is the definition of mean?

  1. unwilling to give or share things, especially money; not generous.
  2. unkind, spiteful, or unfair.
"it was very mean of me"
  3. (especially of a place) poor in quality and appearance; shabby.
"her home was mean and small" (Not very significant...)

What I mean is look at what you're saying. Is this person really being mean?
Second, are you being mean to them? Just because they were mean to you, doesn't mean that you should be rude to them and say, for example,
"Wow you're so rude, I can't believe you said. You're such a disgrace"

It doesn't make anyone feel better

Instead, say "Could you please stop saying that? It's disrespectful to the community."

It makes a huge difference, what you respond.

Many people are influenced into their personality, and bad habits.

That doesn't mean you should lash out at them.

I agree!

Thanks '~'

I get what you mean lol

I agree! Great topic

I don't agree

That's okay. You don't have to.

I agree! :D

Some people could take this the wrong way...I think a better thing to say is, "Some people might take this the wrong way. To prevent an argument, you might want to change this!"
But no winky faces. A lot of people are annoyed by these! cough cough @Ella_13

anyways great topic :+1::+1::+1:

Yeah thank you

It annoys me like crazy

Yeah same XD

Yeah, true!
Thanks and winky face emojis? I totally understand.

Most people say "you're bein.g mean" even if theyre not

It might be unkind, but not necessarily mean. "It can be improved" isn't exactly mean "that is bad" is mean

And just because someone disagrees with you dowsnt mean they're mean

Yeah, it's a problem and most people don't know what to say back
