What do different colored notifications mean?

forum

So, you know when you reply to, read, or made a topic you get a little dot with a number in it when something happens (replied, edited, etc.)?

Why are they sometimes different colors? It is usually blue, but it is sometimes gray. Does anyone know why? What do the colors represent?

I'll include a screenshot so you know what I'm talking about.

Thanks!

I think it's how many new post there are in that topic.

No, I believe that would be the number inside the dot, wouldn't it?

Oh, I see what you mean, I was wondering the same thing awhile ago, and to be honest, I don't know! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Hi @CreativeCoder and @SQUISHY I've been wondering this as well.

I think when it's teal/blue, that means you haven't opened the topic yet and there are posts still unread. Grey means it's also unread, but you might have opened the topic before (like through a notification) and looked at the topic but there are still posts that you haven't scrolled down to and read yet.
