Fixed it for y’all!

Download the shortcut, and save the file that it prompts to this folder:
On my iDevice \ Hopscotch \ webplayer \ versions \ 1.0
Tap replace.

This shortcut has your file: shortcut

@⁣omtl @⁣Ana @⁣awesomeonion this will resolve any issues playing projects and will keep new features, except for one thing: set width and height will not adapt when using set image or text. I’ll fix that for an updated link tomorrow.
Edit: Since adapting width and height was the cause of the bug and I’m no fanatic about this whole thing, we’ll wait for an official fix there.
My fix was to add a conditional to the bugged area, but it did not work. The link here will remain the same.

I did this because awesomeonion is not able to make updates for a couple weeks (have fun at WWDC that’s exciting!), and I was gonna find a solution even if I stayed up 'til 1am.

@⁣Leaders pin this until we get a fix or awesomeonion pushes out a webplayer update. Many people have issues playing published projects and this fixes the issue. Feel free to edit title or first post. Thanks.

Hey @FearlessPhoenix @William04GamerA I know at least one of you knows javascript:

Is there any way I can rewrite this so that width and height only set if a condition is met

actually nvm don’t need that condition, but I would like to know if I could do something like splitting the set variable statements

My test didn’t work anyways, so it’s fine. That fix will remain the current fix.
I am not 100% why the secondary fix did not work but it’s ok, because you can render the new shapes and have multi-touch still. Set width and height just won’t adapt to the new shape though

I got the Hopscotch Quickfix on my Shortcuts app, but I do not know how to save the file to a folder. Do you have any way to show screenshots of how to do it?

It will prompt you.
Tap the same files alerted in the shortcut

Tap On my iDevice
Tap Hopscotch
Tap webplayer
Tap versions
Tap 1.0.0
Tap Add
Tap Replace
