the first project in the video has the music that plays throughout -_-
nice we both read each other’s posts wrong
no i didn’t, i read it wrong
Yay we have a new POTW video done by the amazing @Tri-Angle ! Go check it out!
Psst… were you a fan of the star project of this week? Check out my official lengthened gameplay video by yours truly
This is a new weekly series I will be doing! But do you want to have me play a game you really like, or you made? Tag me below with he game and I will play it on a video!
gosh this was a lot to type with one pinky and a ring finger lol
SWIPE-A-MAZE is my most proudest game I made.
When Worlds Collide is also a fun game I made, imo, which also has keyboard+gamepad controls, but it still only has a demo level.
(Btw, Squaeyron is pronounced “square-n”)
Full Story: Squaeyron and Starlynn need your help! A meteor has crashed into the Space Gem Cluster, and now there’s several Space Gems scattered around the two neighboring planets. Without these gems, the universe goes into complete chaos. Help the duo on this wondrous adventure, and find all of the missing gems to restore the cluster… …and the universe along with it. This won’t be easy, though. The habitants of the Alien World are not your friendly neighborhood creatures, and they’ll stop at nothing to prevent you from accomplishing your goals.
You can choose which one you’d like to play, if any.
(For SWIPE-A-MAZE, if something looks weird, restart the project. It should fix itself after that. Best if played on iOS 17 or below).
Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to check it out!
Funny how the video just cuts out before you finish speaking, lol. Great video, btw.
Thank you lol!

You were talking so fast, I hardly noticed it.
I noticed you said epic a little weirdly, but that doesn’t mean you mispronounced it…
Although I am subscribed to the channel, I am generally on my other channels other than my HS one, so I won’t always be noticed right away.
Awesome (E) video, btw…
We’ve hit 3 Wednesdays in a row so far – hoping we can keep that up!
I, ofc, meant “Notified”
Yeah, I was one of the first to notice it. I was running one of my pixel art projects and noticed nothing was happening. At first, I thought my project froze (I was wondering why it wasn’t crashing), but then I saw that my mazes weren’t loading at all…
I then accidentally discovered a temporary workaround, which is to rotate the device and back (or change the window size).
It might look like a cool feature, but it also negatively affects a lot of other projects (pixel arts, MY MAZE GAME!!!, etc.)…
I guess this means you won’t be able to play my Maze game… unless you have a device running iOS 17 or are willing to change the window size / rotate the device and back a lot to fix the render every time a level loads in…
[ahem]
undo/redo is the poster child for useful, ubiquitous features that most artists outside hs take for granted, yet is notoriously difficult to code in it. but coding undo/redo is a cakewalk compared to another commonplace feature seen in art software, one that no mad soul has ever dared to try coding on hs…
