Adding on to this, this bug is only reproducible on iPhone devices, iPads avoid this glitch by forcing the code keyboard to close when deleting a variable.
I couldn’t reproduce this on my iPad13,8 (iPad Pro M1 12.9"), same version and build number.
I never knew HS shows its current build number, even on the full version. I thought it only shows on betas, for some odd reason…

I checked if this was happening, it was normal
