Usernames stuffed up

Use this template to make awesome bug reports:

Your username: Dog Icing, Dog Frosting

What kind of device are you using?: iPad 7th gen ios 15.2

description of the problem : Project usernames don’t match account username when changed on the account but on another account it show the account username as the project username. Account username doesn’t carry over to project username.

Steps that the Hopscotch team can take to reproduce my problem every time:

  1. Make a project
  2. Change your username
  3. Log out
  4. Log in
  5. Change your username back
  6. Log out
  7. Log in
  8. It doesn’t carry over (img 2)
  9. Log out
  10. Log into another account
  11. Open the other account
  12. New username doesn’t take effect (img 1)
    ….

I expected this to happen: usernames to align and carry over

But instead this happened: it didn’t

Here’s a sweet screenshot:

Sorry if this is confusing.

Hey there @DogIcing

This can be solved by changing your username again in the app. I just updated your username on our end again, does it still happen?

Did you change my main account? And also:

Say the account username shows as hello and the project username doesn’t sync so it shows hellotest, when i change the account name to bye the project username will show hello

It seems like it always lags behind so the only way to make it the same is an invisible character.
