Uploading full-sized screenshots?

Before I bother THT, I wanted to see the community could help with this question…

When you load an image, the app only gives you a rectangular window that’s about 1/2 the height of the screen. Anything outside the visible area appears to be cutoff when the image is uploaded.

If you’ve taken a full-sized screenshot and want to upload it, you can size the image to fit in the visible window but the resolution is then reduced (it’s very noticeable if the image contains normal text).

In the game, Qwixx, that I recently published, this can be seen with the instructions. I had to upload the screenshot of the instructions twice, to store the top & bottom halves in separate objects. Then I had to adjust the size & alignment to match up. What a pain!

Am I missing something? Is there a way to upload a full-sized image??

P. S. Could you please fix the ridiculous forum rule that disallows all words that begin with F and end with K. Feedbac k is disallowed, as was an innocent project title that I tried to recently link.

I don’t have the subscription, so I have no idea, but this seems really weird. Do you know what dimensions of images this applies to?

I believe anyone can test, even without the subscription. You just can’t publish.

There’s no fixed image size that this applies to. It’s about relativity of your screen size and the size of the window that the app gives you on a specific device. For example, the same issue exists with both my iPad & iPhone but with quite different sized images.

Okay. I suggest that you should let THT know about this so that they can fix it as soon as possible.

yeah actually i think its quite annoying. i guess you could do setsize?

Yes, I meant to imply that.
