Up/Down Arrow Variable Bug

Yeah it would be a nice suggestion

This isn’t a bug only for music. I’ve seen it in every type of parameter

Huh, that’s not good

Same.
It does that with clear as well, and the “clear” text appears.

Happens in math and variable blocks as well. Basically everything with a parameter.

In that case, could you edit the op and change music to parameter?

Changed and also added the clear bit

Does this happen all the time? I don’t seem to have encountered this issue before

You need to replace a variable with the up or down symbol to get the bug

Ah I see. There were a couple of times when trying that it seemed like the editor corrected it to either a 1 or a -1 after the arrow appeared for a couple of seconds

That’s because you had a decimal number. The HS editor considers decimal numbers to be 0 so if you press the up button or the down button it will turn into -1 or 1

That is intentional

Variables only have values at runtime. While you’re editing the project, they have no value. So the arrows to increase/decrease valve should be ignored by the editor if the bubble has a variable.

Happens to me, with back-clear but not the arrows

Oops, there’s already a topic on this by @tankt2016 Press done button after inputting variable inserts done into bubble (Open)
