Whatever situation you're in, there's a little glint of hope somewhere. Hold onto it. No matter how stupid it may seem, fantasy helps. Then just face reality in a strong way, and turn it around- into a potato moment! You should help others make potato moments too! You'll see what a potato moment is soon.
Why? Because if you don't, your emotion might leak into the forum. You might start to post negatively or angrily, or cause flame wars, people to feel sad too, or you might post something you shouldn't. Maybe you'll get into a coding slump, or not even want to think of project ideas.
Ugh moments are when you're feeling sad or angry. Potato moments are when you're calm and happy!

EXAMPLE OF WHAT MAY HAPPEN IF YOU DON'T MAKE POTATO MOMENTS
Person 1: I'm so annoyed.
Person 2: What's wrong?
Person 1: I don't wanna say.
Person 2: I can't help you if you don't tell me!
Person 1: I don't want to tell you!
Person 2: Okay, just calm down.
Person 1: Ugh! Don't tell me to calm down. You can't tell me what to do.
Person 2: I'm just trying to help...
Person 1: WELL YOU'RE NOT HELPING!
Person 2: Don't yell, please.
Person 1: SHUT IT AND DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!
Person 2: That's not nice, I'm going to have to flag.
Person 1: I should just give up... why?! Why are you hating on me?!
As you can see, Person 1 got too upset and angry. Person 2 wasn't very helpful. That caused a problem.
EXAMPLE OF WHAT MAY HAPPEN IF YOU DO MAKE A POTATO MOMENT
Person 1: I'm so annoyed.
Person 2: Are you all right?
Person 1: Yeah, I guess.
Person 2: What happened?
Person 1: I don't want to say.
Person 2: That's okay. Is there any way I could help? :3
Person 1: I don't really know.
Person 2: Okay! If you need help, tell me!
Person 1: Okay...
Person 2: By the way, if you need to find ways of cheering up, just try to look on the bright side! Be crazy with any far-fetched good thing that comes from your situation! :3

So, what you SHOULD do to turn an ugh moment into a potato moment is:
Not ask too many questions of someone having an ugh moment!
Talk about ways to make your/someone else's moment into a potato moment!
Put the iPad down if you're feeling angry!
Don't don't don't don't act bossy or uncaring! Always be as friendly and helpful as you can if someone's having an ugh moment!
Try to be as positive as you can, even when something terrible has happened!
Don't be afraid to express your feelings, though express them nicely!
Make sure that you're not hurting any feelings while turning any ugh moment into a potato moment!
Do things you like to cheer up!
Take a deep breath and punch a pillow as a cure for anger!
Never ever EVER try to get someone to calm down in a bossy way. It aggravates them when you do that.
Accept feelings, and show that you notice them. For instance, if someone says, "I'm so upset that my friend got suspended!"
DON'T say something like, "Relax, it's not a big deal. She's fine. She deserved it. There's no reason to be upset."
DO say something like, "Wow! It must be so upsetting to see a friend in trouble, and you must miss her! I'm so so so so sorry. You can always talk to me."
