timed coding competition
hello! in this extremely unoriginal competition, you have to create a project in 10 minutes. simply set a timer and start coding—when the time is up, link your project here!
if you involve ANY aspect of spring inside your project, you’ll get a bonus of 3 points in judging in the “adherence to prompt” category :)
“but how will you verify that people aren’t lying and taking more than 10 minutes”
uh…i don’t want to make everyone submit videos and whatnot so i’m just gonna trust that everyone is telling the truth
projects will be judged as follows:
effort (25 points): is effort clearly displayed in your project?
adherence to prompt (25 points, but possible to get 28 if involved spring themes into the project): did you set a timer for 10 minutes and stick to that?
quality (25 points): is your project still of a decent quality (basically, does the game still function)?
time (25 points): did you submit your project by the due date?
EDIT: i have changed “creativity” category to “quality”
this adds up to a maximum of 103 points (with the extra 3 points from the spring theme), 100 points without the spring theme
@Tri-Angle@amortentia@Razuyuuu@I_Cant_Code@Pandy-y
literally no rush at all to start your projects (since you have until the end of this month), but just reminding you guys that this competition exists!
sorry to bother you guys but just a reminder that the due date is coming (somewhat) close so you might wanna get your projects in soon
if anyone doesn’t want to/can’t participate anymore, please lmk. thanks!
also @I_Cant_Code and @MarkerGames - both of you expressed interest in redoing your projects. so you may do that as long as you start from scratch with only 10 mins on the clock.
