This Siri Shortcut Can Modify your Projects | ๐“๐”€๐“ฎ๐“ผ๐“ธ๐“ถ๐“ฎ_๐“”

Iโ€™m not sure how I can help you if it takes around 10 minutes to load the project. Iโ€™ve been sitting here for around 10 minutes and it hasnโ€™t even uploaded.

This is exactly what I do.

Upload the project link to the builder โ†’
Change the stage size with the pop up at the right of the screen โ†’
Save the project and the shortcut does the process โ†’
Allow it to use the JSON project folder to upload the file โ†’
Me realizing it didnโ€™t work

Uh what happened it is red

You accidentally deleted its reference (donโ€™t panic. Tap the variable, clear it, then select renamed item (unless you deleted the block that renames the item, and in that case, DO PANIC!!).

In case of a mess up, re-download the shortcut.

Red = Missing (Unknown) Variable

sometimes it just shows the loading spinner forever

looks fine

ok

ok

Can you at least screenshot the save file prompt when you hit save and what the last save file action in the Save HS Project shortcut looks like?

Edit the shortcut, and screenshot the save file actionโ€ฆ should be something like:

Maybe, but at the same time thatโ€™s reminding me of a npm package thatโ€™s used to change font color. I also donโ€™t really see how itโ€™s clear that itโ€™s modding the HS editor

This is also pretty good. Immediately identifiable as a modding tool, and somewhat related to Hopscotch. If it helps to know what Iโ€™m looking for, Iโ€™d probably also need there to be 3 separate extension icons (inactive, on play project page, using modded player on play project page)

Update 1

Dark mode will be in the official web editor in the not too distant future

Update 2

Saving presets is working in the chrome extension. This is also more up to date compared to saving presets in the Project builder because it will save local variable containers in rules and objects.

Not that youโ€™re involved with it, but while weโ€™re talking about it, I was wondering if there were any plans for dark theme on the forum? Iโ€™m thinking of making my own custom theme for it haha

There already is a dark theme, but it could be improved a bit

Nice โ€“ Iโ€™m just using what DarkReader does automatically, and itโ€™s pretty good

Which one are you looking at? Would be a fun learning experience to fork it and modify the colors hah

DarkReader is cool! I use Midnight Lizard instead (but Iโ€™ve found that it doesnโ€™t work on sites with complicated layouts)

I was thinking of just making a Stylish theme though!

in preferences

Yeah, it works pretty well for the basic usage I get out of it. Itโ€™s a shame they made the iOS version paid (I use a different app thatโ€™s no longer on the app store, but there are still free options)

I figured โ€“ this is a time where I wish desktop was more like iOSโ€ฆ thereโ€™s this app (I think itโ€™s called Userscripts?) that lets you have (as youโ€™d guess) user scripts, but also CSS โ€“ so itโ€™s in one extension. Pretty cool if you ask me!

Saving preset support

Saving Preset

@TheModders progress is fast!
mostly because itโ€™s copying over code, then using the rather modular structure of the web editor, i.e. ProjectAbility.get('abilityID') and new ProjectRevision({ type: 'AEModification', modifiedBlocks:[] })

ok I know this is a stretch but

maybe add community themes

themes that forums suggest that can be added similar to Visual Coding Studio

also what is stopping you from releasing that as an app for mac?

also maybe this could also go in

Woah. I never knew this was a thing and my mind is being blown right now lol

This feels kind of weird after seeing the forum in light theme for so long, haha

EDIT: Okay, this is so weird to me wow
Honestly, the mint green is bright, but I actually kinda like it on this theme :)
Itโ€™s a little weird, and probably too bright for this sort of thing, but it does look cool.

Ooh, that sounds like a dreamโ€ฆ Tampermonkey should add CSS support.

In the future, maybe. That type of stuff is really easy to change

Well, some apps can convert a webpage to an app, but then itโ€™s just a mini browser window (not ideal). And if I wanted to make a system-native app that isnโ€™t just a web view, then Iโ€™d need to build the codebase again.

Thatโ€™s more of modded player stuff than this extension

It looks exactly like that
