You’re not the only one who’s being ignored. Many others are too! There have been many people who have said they’ll leave because they feel left out. (From strangers, oh the weirdness of it all) People either come to you (very unlikely in everybody’s case), you become helpful to lots of people on the forum, or you make frens with some of them!

I don’t have any of these browsers, sadly. My brother has a Windows 10 laptop with Opera, Firefox, Google Chrome, Edge and Yandex browser installed (if I remember it correct). He is not at home, so I can’t ask him if I can borrow his computer right now.

Wow, what a nice game! I really like the way you applied different colors on the boxes. I couldn´t really read the instructions though - the font blended in a bit too well in the background, in my opinion. However, I played the project on my laptop in my webplayer, so maybe it was just the screen size.

Can anyone try this and tell me the two numbers you get? This is how I determine the OS, as each one handles text differently

I only need MacOS, Android, and ChromeOS to be tested

Please respond with this template:

Device (e.g. Mac Mini 2014)
Operating System and Version (e.g. MacOS 10.14.2)
The two numbers from left to right (e.g. 493, 398)

In this format: Device, OS, num1, num2

I am going to add to Device Guesser and I am trying to make it detect different devices, but I need help with seeing how devices input touch with a different resolution.

The project is a 1024x768 project, but I need to test it on different devices to determine what number set a device needs to make the touch a whole integer.

How to help:

1. Open this project in the Hopscotch App.
2. Go to the Set Text actions in the object.
3. Change the values in tiltright>0 to experiment with TouchY and tiltleft<0 for TouchX.
4. Find a value that makes the Last Touch Variable always a whole number and try to make it less than 15 digits long when the device is playing the project horizontally.

For example: The iPhone screen size is 667x375. In Last Touch X, I had to multiply by 667 and 375 to make the output always a whole number, and in Last Touch Y, I had to multiply by just 375.

Devices I need : 10.5 in iPad Pro, 11 in iPad Pro, 12.9 in iPad Pro, iPhone X/XS (same), iPhone XR, iPhone XS Max, iPhone 5S/SE

LagTest v1.1

I made a project lag tester that you guys van use to test webplayer performance both in the app and on various browsers. You can change the number of standby objects and acting objects. I know it isn’t perfect and a few things aren’t consistent such as random placement, but it is a good place to start. Each individual block runs fairly consistently scoring a 16, with larger numbers being worse. However, due to the way the scoring works, results may be less accurate above scores of 24 because of frame rules.

Just thought this might be useful since performance is something you guys are working hard on!

(You can change number of objects to benchmark under in objcontrol text object)

I just thought up an array sytem today, it’s a bit limited with data points and cannot store negatives, but it is possible. Basically, three variables are stored directly next to each other with a leading 1 followed by a .1 at the end. It looks like this:

Each portion is color coded to make it easier to see, with the leading 1 and ending 1. It is useful for read only, increase or decrease of one at a time, or setting multiple values at once, but it cannot store negatives or Decimals.

How do I set 3 values or load one value? Assuming you have 3 digits, Run the same code as in the project. If you don’t, notice the 10 to the power of -6, -3, etc. Make them multiples of 4 instead of 3 if you want four digits per value, etc, etc. Also note the modulo. It is currently %1000 (10 cubed). Same process: make it 10 to the power of how many digits per value (4 ➙ 1000, 2 ➙ 100, etc.)

Most useful application: Setting Colors in one variable.
Came up with this idea when coding E-Pad color transitions to store the old variable to calculate fade amounts without 3 new color variables (I already have a lot)
