so i just noticed a probably mistake with how hsf usernames update [i noticed it due to @Find.The.Markers having recently changed his user to @/MarkerGames]
when this happens, every time @Find.The.Markers has been tagged in the past, it replaces it with @/MarkerGames. except when he tagged himself. i looked at other examples of updated usernames, and, yes, tagging yourself does not update in any instance. not to mention somehow the system counts them all as valid users!

That does seem like a bug with the forum software. I can make a bug report with them when I get a chance.

I think since lots of people tag each other, discourse can’t handle changing that every time someone changes their name, (100+ posts (estimate) would be edited and that would cause lag!)
Yep, I noticed this something like a month ago.
I reported it to the people who made the forum software. They confirmed it is a bug and they will get it fixed in future. Thanks a lot for making the topic here @braynee202
