A feature I’d like to see in Hopscotch is:
High Color Contrast option for the Editor
This is so users who have trouble seeing the current blocks don’t feel left out
Here is an example design I’ve made:
I’ve seen something similar in another programming languages, it looks like this:
Scratch and some block style programming apps are already doing this.
This is a nice idea!
Hopscotch definitely needs more accessibility features.
I’d really like to see this implemented.
Definitely a great idea! The color you proposed also seems to be compliant with the highest levels of WCAG (for non-WCAG studiers out there: it is basically a framework of guidelines for app-accessibility)
The new example version you made makes it harder for me to see the text imo /lh
Maybe something like this?
Lol if not than feel free to say my eyes are broken /lh
Yeah i agree tyca
And my eyes are broken /j i have glasses
high contrast needs to be bold imo
Thanks for your feedback.
Is this better?
maybe a bit more bold - but definitely better!!
Yeah, it is a bit hard for me to see too.
I was going to say something but I didn’t want to be rude.
And I wasn’t sure if others (such as colorblind people?) could see it but I couldn’t.
But that definitely looks better!
It’s still harder for me to see than the original though.
This is as bold as I can make it
That looks nice!
Btw, this is a really great idea!
