Strings Can not be typed in “check once” or “check if else” blocks

1 sentence description of the problem (I was Coding and added a check once to check a string, and then the button to switch to text in check one did not show up happened):

Steps that the Hopscotch team can take to reproduce my problem every time:

  1. Create a project
  2. Add a check once if
  3. No option for it shows up

I expected this to happen:
To let me check for a string

But instead this happened:
No option for text appeared

Here’s a sweet screenshot/video:
There is no button here

But there is one here and it should also be in the image above

Bobinny and I were the first to notice, and I also let Yuanyuan and t1_hopscotch know about it.

Thanks a lot for reporting this — we’re working on a fix for it. It seems like there’s a case that we missed.

Current workaround: copy some text and paste it into the parameter.

1 sentence description of the problem I was creating my hole-io game when the ‘aA’ option didn’t appear:

Steps that the Hopscotch team can take to reproduce my problem every time:

  1. Create a ‘Check Once If’ block
  2. Add an = into the block
  3. Go to the second option

I expected this to happen:
The ‘aA’ option to appear

But instead this happened:
It didn’t appear
