This event/competition/challenge is started by me (@StrawberryKarma) and all the currencies, rewards, and prizes are handled by me, not Hopscotch. You can find other similar self-started events in Competitions & Events, or even start one yourself. Because this is started by me, Hopscotch and the forum leaders are not involved or responsible in any of the transactions here.

Hello there, and welcome to my competition!!
This is just some fun little drawing thing I wanted to do.

So, the concept is pretty simple, I’ll just give a basic step-by-step outline.

  1. I give a prompt
  2. You draw the prompt
    :bangbang: HERES THE SURPRISE :bangbang:
  3. You give the drawing a FUN TWIST!
  4. The judges vote
  5. Whoever gets the least votes is eliminated
  6. If you don’t get the least votes, you move on!
  7. We do it again with the next round

If that doesn’t make sense, I’m open to any questions!

HERE ARE SOME RULES!!

  • All drawings must be appropriate/not go against community guidelines
  • Voting shouldn’t be biased
    (I don’t really know what else to add, but if anyone has suggestions, please PLEASE tell me, and I will be sure to add them!)
    I doubt any of you wonderful people would do any of that though!

HERE ARE SOME JUDGING!!
If you’re a judge, here you will find how to do it!!

I will make a poll with all the submissions, and you will rate them on a scale of 1-10.
Easy as that!

Remember to be careful with your judging, because it should be based more on creativity and only partly skill.

More notes (please read for important info)

When we’re down to three people, then they will all draw one thing, but this time, whoever gets the MOST votes wins the whole thing!
2nd most votes is second
And least is 3rd

Sadly, I don’t have (cough cough) any seeds at all, so I can’t give participants any seeds as rewards.

1st place!! (Winner of the whole competition):
2 Drawing/Game requests of their choice! (I’ll draw them something/make a game)
1 short comic of their character (one comic of their choice with their character

2nd place!!
1 Drawing/Game request of their choice!
1 short comic of their character

3rd place!!
1 Drawing/Game request of their choice/Comic of their character, (but only one!)

All participants who were voted out get 1 short comic of their character!

If I’m missing any details, like I said earlier, I’m open to any suggestions/questions!

How long is the drawing period/a round? A week? A day? A couple days? A month?

PROMPT TIME!!!

Alrighty everyone!!
It’s time to send out the first prompt!!

First prompt!
Draw a Yellow Canary Bird as a human
For reference, here are some pictures:

And for Submission Period, they are due the end of March.
Pretty long, right?
But BEWARE
This is only for THE FIRST ROUND!
That way, we can can get more participants, and the participants have more time for their drawing!
BUT ONLY THE FIRST ROUND
After that, you get one week! And no more participants are allowed

Yea, I can probably join. I’ll try to keep up.
college is gettin busier, my other projects are gettin more active, and life is wacky rn but I can try if its really important for the contest to have 1 more person
