Store objects in variables for tap related rules

A feature I’d like to see in Hopscotch is:

Store objects or the iPad in variables

I’d use it for this type of project:

Detecting taps, presses, drags, pinches, etc. on more than just an object without duplicating code.

Here are some examples of Hopscotch code that could be improved if we had this:

Detecting taps, presses, drags, pinches, etc. on the iPad or a specific object.

i’m not sure if i’m getting you right, you want to store objects in variables? - (which you said) but what major use would it have other than detecting taps?

Does this exist within other programming languages? (Just curious).
