“Stamp” block idea

A feature I’d like to see in Hopscotch is: “A stamp clone”

I’d use it for this type of project: art pads, drawing using clones, and games where you don’t need the clone anymore, but you need to see it.

Here are some examples of Hopscotch code that could be improved if we had this: non laggy games

Here is an example design I’ve made:

I’ve seen something similar in another programming languages, it looks like this: I’ve seen it in Tynker before.

The stamp block also exists on Scratch. Stamps are like clones, except they cannot be moved, turned, nor altered in any way, shape, or form.

Oh ok. So if I make an object change size and color then will the stamp will keep that color and size?

It basically just “stamps” the object on the screen with the exact features the object that stamped it had.

Yeah, and it doesn’t lag

I forgot the go to finger in the first image…

so basically duplicating the object and its properties?

This would be cool
I have a lot of clones that lag my game but don’t even move.

Seems like it just draws the copy as a trail

Oh, this would be amazing to have!
Would make the editor way less cluttered and the project would run more smoothly.

It would also give us the ability to make large and more detailed pixel arts without dealing with excessive lag.

Yes please! I give this my stamp of approval ;))

Yes, usually really detailed pixel arts have excessive load time, which can be annoying.
