A feature I’d like to see in Hopscotch is:
A block where it make a speech bubble
I’d use it for this type of project:
Any where the characters need to talk
Here are some examples of Hopscotch code that could be improved if we had this:
^^^
Here is an example design I’ve made:
I’ve seen something similar in another programming languages, it looks like this:
In scratch it has a say: block

Looks cool. People on Hopscotch have found ways to make a speech bubble using the blocks we already have, but this would make it much easier.

A cool idea, but we can do this already with different blocks like what Crosby said

My friend who uses Scratch always talks about how Scratch has this
You can do it already though

Nice idea!
I also think if HS adds this they should add a speech bubble shape option as well

I think it would make it easier to make speech bubbles
But that being the exact point of why it should not be their
People need to learn to make stuff like that not have it handed to them

Yeah that would be good as well and maybe text size or something as well

Text color is doable with set color tho, right?
Text size is also doable with set size or set width and height

This would be nice for lot of people and it would save a lot of time—but personally, I actually enjoy coding my own speech bubbles. I can decide what color, shape, and size I want it to be without the computer generating something that doesn’t match with the aesthetic of my project.

i agree with this
It could be as a custom preset block
Many people who are starting out on Hopscotch could use this feature to make to easier

Custom preset is a good idea—it’d make things much easier on my end.

Speaking of custom presets, COAN already made one!
