Some way to copy text

A feature I’d like to see in Hopscotch is:

Some way to show copyable text, like for example pre-filling an input, or some block to copy text to the clipboard, but that would probably be annoying.

I’d use it for this type of project:

Level editor, shape art editor, pixel art editor, weapon editor, animation maker for games, planet editor, etc.

Here are some examples of Hopscotch code that could be improved if we had this:

Anything where you want to be able to copy a long variable to use in project’s code.

This would be even more useful if it also came with Replace something with something in string, though that is a different suggestion.

Great idea!

Yeah I’d also like to see a default value parameter in save input. It works with a third parameter in my player, but not natively at this point.

What if you needed to save a long savecode?
Well, yes you have saveable variables but still

I can see people saying “go to the website copied onto your clipboard”
*gets tricked into doing smth they probobly would have never done

But you would hopefully have to copy it yourself, I don’t like it when things are copied to your clipboard without you telling it to be.

Also how would that be worse than what can happen now?

Which is?

which is going into the code to copy a link.

We are still talking about the Hopscotch app, and there’s no other way?

The way to copy text is to have a keyboard and do command + a and command + c and then command + v
