Skip Line Coding Block

I think Hopscotch should make a block that lets you skip lines like this.
Hello
Hi
Cool

So you can do things like when toucan is tapped, skip line. This is useful for if you type numbers and you want todo when self bumps the end of the screen, it will go to the next line

Good idea! (First)

Ok that’s cool
I understand this explanation

can’t you just use check once if?

Interesting idea, but wouldn’t it be more efficient to use variables?

Yeah, like @Nobody said, an if statement would do that, though we don’t have an ‘if’ for when an object is tapped (that’d be nice though).

How? Ndnjemem

When Toucan is tapped, set ‘tapped’ to 1. When ‘tapped’ = 1, do whatever it is you want to do. Then set ‘tapped’ back to 0 when it has done it, or something.

Like Nobody the user said, a “Check Once If” statement

Here’s a topic that kinda covers that.

Especially this

Well what I mean is like skipping lines like this
E
E
E
E
E

You can still use variables to do that, but nice idea nevertheless!

?

How could you have a line of Es in the code? We’re talking about hopscotch right?

Yes what I mean is when you click enter multiple times and the cursor goes to the next line

Wait, like for typing?

I think CB (cool if I call you that?) is using the “E’s” as an example for lines of code

Yea like moving the lines down

What? So like return?

Yea you can call me that

Yes correct
