Sorry to say, but old inactive groups will start being deleted from now as per the requirements in the first post.

But we have decided that we will start by deleting them only if the owner/requester is no longer active on the forum — i.e. hasn’t posted at all in the last year or so.

Clearing unused groups will just make it easier for us to manage the more recent groups.

Edit:

I will also delete groups if a person has more than one group, and if it’s clearly been inactive (no mentions at all in the past year):

I fixed it! I hope it looks good.

I’m not PumpkinGirl, but I think that you need to modify your image. You could try the following:

  • Use any image edit/design tool and create an empty canvas with a dimension of 512x512 (or any dimension that has the same width and height, but I recommend 512x512). Make so that the canvas has a transparent background. If your tool can’t do this, then you can always use a tool like remove.bg later.
  • Add the image that you’re currently using as your flair to the canvas. Enlarge it, but not so that it reaches all the way out to the edges, leaving a little space free.
  • Save the image and ask us to change it.

I can’t guarantee that this works, but it could be worth a try!

@tb23 I quickly wrote this up for you. Paste it into the Tryit Editor v3.7. If it’s squeezed there then it will be squeezed as a flair. :slight_smile:

Code to paste
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">
<style>
.avatar {
  vertical-align: middle;
  width: 100px;
  height: 100px;
  border-radius: 50%;
  border: 1px solid black;
  background-position: center;
  background-size: 100% 100%;
}
</style>
</head>
<body>
   <div class="container">
      <input type="file" id="image_input" accept="image/png, image/jpg">
      <div class="avatar" id="display_image"></div>
   </div>
   <script>
   const image_input = document.querySelector("#image_input");
image_input.addEventListener("change", function() {
   const reader = new FileReader();
   reader.addEventListener("load", () => {
   const uploaded_image = reader.result;
 document.querySelector("#display_image").style.backgroundImage = `url(${uploaded_image})`;
});
   reader.readAsDataURL(this.files[0]);
});
   </script>
