I think I’ve found a bug with the parameter. Having used these blocks before this update, it’s definitely changed.
So, the set scene block has the scene parameter, right?
Here’s what happens:
I tap the scene
The first time it gets put in, the scene text stays invisible.
After I exit the block, it looks normal.
When I change the parameter again, it sometimes goes invisible and sometimes fades in and out.
However, if I delete an existing parameter (after reentering the block) then put another one in, it works as intended; the parameter moves into the bubble, the block exits, and the text is there.
Minor visual glitch but thought I’d point it out. It’s great that tapping the bubbles works again, as they didn’t in the previous update. Lmk if you want a screenshot
There’s a reason it’s in beta
There is, and it’s to catch bugs early on too, although there will be bugs which is why they have the beta as well.
That’s why I said it’s in beta for a reason
Awesomeonion still told me to make this a topic
I figured, that’s why I didn’t go too much into the details
Would you please provide screenshots?
What does lmk mean?
Can someone else who has the beta editor confirm this bug? I think it might be an issue with a project that has the json edited
It’s happening in the beta editor too
@AwesomeOnion and is a legit bug.
I’d send a gif or video or something but I can’t
the json edited
It’s the same scene parameter. Or at least it should act the same. Selection works, it’s just a visual bug.
FearlessPhoenix has also confirmed that this is the case
I believe this issue still occurs.
@FearlessPhoenix could you confirm that the parameter still doesn’t work perfectly? (Sometimes, text disappears, sometimes parameter goes in, but functionally it works, just visual glitches)
Yeah still happens.
Literally just experienced that today
The plan is for scenes to come out of beta early next year. We’ll let you know once we start working on them more intensively and will collect bugs.
