A feature I’d like to see in Hopscotch is:
The ability to return values from custom blocks that will be local varaibles in the scope outsie the custom block
I’d use it for this type of project:
Pretty much everything
Here are some examples of Hopscotch code that could be improved if we had this:
Say you have some variable which stores a color. You then make a custom block to get the h, s, and b values from that color to use in a drawing. It would be neater if you could use local variables for the results (and also the inputs but I think that’s already coming)

This would be very useful. I’ve also lately come across some situations where having multiple return values would be useful (appending to a “list” “returns” the new “list” and the index of the new item, although that specific example is only really useful when there aren’t any lists in Hopscotch.)

ive been working with return1 and return2 and since i dont wanna work with a return3 i am using the speed block

This is just a quarter of the variables in one of my projects, I’m using them all to get data from the results of custom blocks. There are a few object variables that aren’t used for this (in fact this is the only screenshot of the list that wouldn’t show any) but most of the variables are just for custom blocks.
