Also sorry for the bad example design i don’t really have any photo editing apps
This would be great! It would be so helpful to just say ‘Score: (Var)’ instead of needing two text objects.
Also, it would be great if you could set variables to text, as well.
I’m pretty sure that’s called “strings” in some other languages. But both of these features would greatly improve projects
I know, I just wanted to make sure you (and everyone else) would understand what I meant.
Which makes it entirely pointless.
What you showed is how it should work.
I thought it would work when I first tried doing it a while back but it didn’t
This is something I really would like as well, it would be a huge improvement to Hopscotch!
Now you need to have multiple text objects if you want to include a variable…
What exactly does this mean?
If I want to have a project with a sentence that says “Your score is 23”, I need to have one text object saying “Your score is” and one that updates the score.
Oh I thought you meant something else
This would be awesome. Have you tagged Ana about this yet?
@MISSION_IMPOSSIBLE already did.
Sorry for the tag
Nice idea! (How have I not seen this yet??)
I think implementation would look great if it’s done as something similar to what Siri Shortcuts does:
These are called strings and would explode on impact with popularity and everyone would like them
Maybe I’d update from 3.37.2 :)
I’m still on version 3.37.2 of the app
