Sometimes you have to wait longer because the player is still loading. I had to wait a few seconds, then clicking play worked.

(In the community page, the loading circle doesn’t exist anymore, whereas in the web explorer it shows project loading before it plays)

Opera uses Chromium to render (so yes, same browser under the hood essentially), though I do think the user agent string is slightly different

oh that’s odd, I wonder if I just have a weird configuration??

I created a new profile and it still isn’t working, no extensions or changed settings…

Looking at the console I’m not sure if this makes sense:

The WebGL error seems strange. What version of Chrome/Chromium are you running?
(you can find it out here)

I guess it is slightly outdated, but I’m pretty sure WebGL should be supported? It’s only like a month old at the most

Wait why is your webgl disabled?

The main not being defined is because the player hasn’t loaded, but WebGL to my knowledge should not be disabled by default, so I’m not sure what’s going on there.

I don’t know, it’s super weird. I just created a brand new profile (menu bar > profiles > add profile) so my understanding is that that should have all default settings.

Doing some more googling it seems like it’s an occasional issue with Chrome? I’ll check if it works next time I restart chrome.
