Project Idea Competition

Hello everyone!
I have decided to try to host yet another competition! This one will be different than the rest of them because, well you’ll see…

The idea of the competition is this: you all give me an idea for a game, and a few will be chosen. I’ll code them to the best of my ability, and people can vote for their favorite game/s.

There are a few things to remember here:

A. Your game ideas should not be too complicated, if they are, it might be too hard for me to code.
B. Your ideas shouldn’t be too basic, either, that way they’ll be more interesting,
C. Not all of your ideas will be chosen to be made into a project
D. You can give multiple ideas, but only one of them (if any) will be chosen to be made into a project.

If you have any prizes you would like to give, do say so please!

Submissions are/will be in post two.

Ooo cool! So like a request topic, but much more organized and a challenge! Maybe you could make a make your own comic game?

Oooh cool

What about a game sort of like the app Star Walk (or others similar, I just like that one).

Basically a night sky thing that moves as you tilt the device to show new stars

This seems cool… wait I already said that

Here’s my idea!

So, your avatar is a shark (:shark:), and you have to go around eating things for ten days. Your primary diet is fish (:fish::blowfish::tropical_fish:), but occasionally there will be prawns (:shrimp:), squid (:squid:), and turtles (:turtle:). You can also eat whales (:whale2:), humans (:walking_man:t3:‍♂) (when they appear), and even smaller sharks. All the while, your stomach is running down on capacity. You start with a capacity of 500, which is the maximum. As you eat, your stomach builds up its capacity. There is also a clock (:clock4:) in the upper right corner. It is constantly changing. A day ends when either of these happen:

  1. The clock reaches midnight (:clock12:)
  2. Your stomach capacity reaches zero

At the end of the tenth day, the results are shown with how much food you ate. (It will list everything individually, but the fish section will be blue fish, angelfish, and pufferfish grouped together.)

Stomach capacity gained by food
  1. Fish: 10
  2. Prawns: 30
  3. Squid: 15
  4. Turtles: 50
  5. Whales: 100
  6. Humans: 25
  7. Sharks: 75

What about a game that up to 4 people can play on the same device? Like if 4 people could control their characters by pressing buttons in the corners of the screen and compete for the most amounts of points by the end of the game. The game could be something like tag where every time someone is tagged they have to pass it on as soon as possible (kind of like the game “king of opera”) And if you want a little bit more of a challenging project, you could add an Ai for when there are less than 4 players.

Make a build-your-own fort game. You get blocks by progressing through the waves (of enemies), and you can place them on your fort in an editor. Different blocks have different hit points, and once a block is placed down it can have tech placed in it. The tech can be things like defender posts, resource generation (in case any tech consumes resources), and passive (like health increase for the block it is placed on, repair for blocks near it, or shields to give a chance to deflect a ranged attack). At the end of each wave, the player gets randomized rewards as well as a chance in the editor(the fort’s damage in a wave is not preserved into the editor or next wave). I’ll let you decide what happens when a player’s fort is destroyed.

Well that was probably too detailed. If you get to code this one, I’m open for collabing on it.
