Usually if I’m just quickly visiting Hopscotch, I tend to just heart most of the (code) projects that I see to encourage the makers, but don’t actually play them or look into the code… I used to look behind the scenes of projects waaay more and try to understand what was going on, and I learnt so much from doing this. Now I find myself just hearting more If I decide to play a project but it takes too long to load, I tend to exit before it finishes loading.

I also love remixing projects to add new things but I haven’t done much of that at all for a while.

Edit: not that I’m ignoring drawings – they’re amazing if anything! – this is just commenting on code projects.

I used to visit trending a whole lot, and there was great stuff there, but now it’s become a bit clogged with all of the art projects. Some are okay, but it’s pushing away the code projects.

@t1_hopscotch I just wanted to motivate my answer on “How often do you play projects”: I can’t play a lot of projects even if I use the latest version of Hopscotch and a good internet connection, and I normally code with an older editor so I don’t play projects on featured that often. If Hopscotch would have worked for me, I would probably play projects Often or Very Frequently.

I normally play all or at least most of the projects on featured, but very rarely the projects on trending.

I normally play pixel art or trail art projects, and I will look in the code for those since it could help me improve, but games and anything else I don’t really play nor do I look in the code. I never remix, so…
