1 sentence description of the problem (I was coding and then I played my game but an object didn’t appear):

Steps that the Hopscotch team can take to reproduce my problem every time:
1.code clones
2. Play twice
….

I expected this to happen: the clone would appear

But instead this happened: the clone didn’t appear

Here’s a sweet screenshot:

Hmm this is odd. Maybe it has something to do with loading? Sometimes when you restart a project a lot, then the game bugs out.

It could have been sent to back somehow?

Yay!!! That was the problem thank you

But why when I play it twice it goes back?

Ah, I believe the first gram operates differently on a restart, I can’t remember how tho it can significantly change things! Try waiting a frame?

Im not sure. But I notice when playing for the first time, all projects load slower compared to a smoother second/third etc. Also, if restart detectors can be made, something must change between plays

It’s a weird occurrence with frame timing

I’d say use Z-index and avoid send to front and send to back since both can be unpredictable

This happened to me as well. Try to avoid clones as much as you can.

That’s due to more frames occurring right at the start (e.g. 60FPS first second vs 35)

I suggest avoiding any wait blocks in the first 5-10 frames if they’re not just for waiting one frame.
