Option to report and block an account

I’d like to see an option where you can report an account for different reasons. E.g: cyber bullying,inappropriate language or content,etc. I don’t know what it feels like to get cyber bullied and I hope nobody has experienced or is experiencing cyber bullying or other. Blocking an account would be helpful especially if the user posts inappropriate or mean stuff towards anyone. Even if it was a harmless joke it could still hurt the person tremendously.
It would also be helpful if a user posted many inappropriate or harmful projects. It would be easier to report the account than to report all of the harmful projects.

  • I prefer reporting projects one by one
  • It would be way easier to block or report the account

A harmful account also shouldn’t appear on any of the channels.

this is for a whole account, not just individual projects

Yes but it would be easier to report the entire account if the user posted many mean projects

That’s what I thought. Anyways, the point is, we shouldn’t hurt other people’s feelings. You aren’t pushing yourself up, ypu are pulling others down

Great idea! I’ve seen a couple of not-so-friendly nicknames and have contacted the staff, but an option in-app would be really nice to see.

Actually i agree with the topic.
This is very useful if a user is keep on making projects trying to spam or break the community guidelines!

A feature I’d like to see in Hopscotch is:

reporting a project hides it for you and sends a report/flag to THT, if I recall correctly?
