THEME & DEADLINE
Given it’s the 10 year anniversary of Hopscotch this year, we’ve chosen the theme of memories!
ALL PROJECTS MUST BE HANDED IN BETWEEN 2023-06-27T12:00:00Z→2023-08-05T16:00:00Z
GENERAL INFORMATION

Purely art submissions will not be accepted, they must be partly coded

Collabs must have between 2-4 people; larger groups will be split up

1 Submission per person/collab

Submit projects by tagging a Leader in this topic, or tag us if you’re having any trouble submitting projects/time issues!

Resubmissions (updated projects) are allowed, so you’re welcome to send those in (tag @/Leaders)

Judges & Judging Criteria
The judges this year are the leaders and two surprise community judges!
Below is the criteria:
20 Points For Design
How good does your project look? Is it designed well with nuances in mind? Are the instructions clear, and is it easy to play?
20 Points For Performance
How smoothly does it run? Are there bugs?
20 Points For Complexity & Problem Solving
How complex is the project? How did you solve tricky problems in your code?
20 Points For Creativity
How creative is the code and concept? How original was your project?
20 Points For Adherence To Theme
How well does it fit the theme?
All of this adds up to 100 points!
