Negative decimals do not work without the zero in webplayer 1.5.x

If you type a negative decimal(for example -.5) it becomes a string instead of a number. You need to add a zero for it to be a number (-0.5)

I’m conflicted. On one hand, this is an issue, on the other hand, people who write decimals like that are blasphemous. WRITE DECIMALS WITH A NUMBER BEFORE THE DECIMAL PLACE! THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.

Does Hopscotch not automatically add the zero in front anymore?

Or did you tap minus first? Or did you Type it into a text field.

to me this makes sense. “.” is most commonly used in texts, so if it starts with “.” it makes sense it sees it as a text object.

I’m not entirely sure that’s how it works. I think there’s a logical fallacy in there somewhere…
