Name variable and most recently tapped object

The features I’d like to see in Hopscotch are:

a variable for the name of an object and a thing for object variables that was the most recently tapped object’s variable.

I’d use it for this type of project:

A thing that would show the name and stats of the most recently tapped object.

Well, you can do this using variables.

Like, you can do;

When “any object” is tapped, set (variableA) to characters in 1234567 between (1) and (variableB)

When “the object” is tapped, set (variableB) to 1.

Then if VariableA = 1, then you know “the object” was most recently tapped

You can do this using variables but this would make it a bit easier.

I can’t really see “most recently tapped” working, but I would like to see an “object name” variable.

I second on the name variable

A couple variables I would also like to see are as follows:

  • Last Touch X at Index ( )
  • Last Touch Y at Index ( )
  • Touch Index

Additionally, I would like to see an Index ( ) of ( ), which would be very useful for clones, and would reduce the need for numerous check if else conditionals, and a

( ) contains ( ) for conditionals, which would be used for checking if a string contains another string, for example if (apple) contains (a), do this. Else, do this instead…

Now that I’m think about it, the object’s name, otherwise known as “label,” is hidden from view when in play mode, so there really isn’t a need…
