A feature I’d like to see in Hopscotch is:
multiple text colors in 1 text block
I’d use it for this type of project:
anything that requires multiple color in 1 text
Here are some examples of Hopscotch code that could be improved if we had this:
you wouldn’t have to use as many clones and therefore wouldn’t have to position them very precisely
Here is an example design I’ve made:
in the green blocks with (length) in them
in (variable) set color (color picker here) at (number1) to (number2)
the numbers could also be text lines
I’ve seen something similar in another programming languages, it looks like this:
I haven’t seen anything similar
I’d like to see this implemented
Eh, maybe
This isn’t that good of an idea

So basically in a variable set one color to be at position 1 and position 2?
This sounds super cool, great idea

yes, and you could set another color at position 3 and 4

Yess this would be very useful

HS could just support format strings and escape characters instead. Then you can do all sorts of things like this.

Rainbow text would be possible, so yes.

And set colour to (multiple) one of awesome e’s pfps, multiple colour gorilla, may be recreated with this update

I second this! Tho maybe it would be a separate block? That would make it easier for beginners?

I guess. It doesn’t really matter, though. THT will probably not implement this.

So like a gradient-type thing?

no
take the string 123, to make numbers 1 & 2 a different color than 3 you’d have to use multiple objects to do so. if this feature were implemented you wouldn’t have to use multiple objects—you could set the color of each character individually

Yes definitely!
This would be very useful.

Can we do this with strings?

Here’s an example I made for you:
