This event/competition/challenge is started by me (@codecrazy) and all the currencies, rewards, and prizes are handled by me, not Hopscotch. You can find other similar self-started events in Competitions & Events, or even start one yourself. Because this is started by me, Hopscotch and the forum leaders are not involved or responsible in any of the transactions here.
Every month I’ll come out with a story it could be from a movie or it could be completely made up. The story will be left unfinished halfway through. You will have to finish the story. But wait—there is a twist.
Half of the competitors will be assigned one emotion, half another emotion. People let’s say with the emotion “sad” will have to create a sad ending to the story, if you get the emotion “fear” you might lean more towards a cliffhanger ending.
There will be a winner for each emotion. The winners will get:
-A free drawing of their choice
-The freedom to choose which of the 2 emotions they want for the next month.
There will be new emotions every month. Your writing will be judged off of creativity, and how well it fits your emotion.

We slowly got off the bus and headed toward the arcade. “This place looks creepy” i say, “don’t worry what’s the worse that could happen” my best friend Annie says to me “we’re with 60 people we won’t get lost”, “that’s not what I meant—“ i say before I was interrupted by our leader making an announcement. “Everyone will be playing laser tag while we try to get the bus working” she said “let’s all head there now”. I walk with Annie and Nicky to the laser tag.
“Why’s their no laser vest or laser?” Nicky asked “I wouldn’t know!” I replied. We entered slowly and wandered, “this is so creepy, right Nicky?” Annie says. I interrupt “wait where is Nicky any way?” “I dunno” says Annie. We run around screaming “NICKY, NICKY!!! WHERE ARE YOU?”. “What’s that noise” Annie questions “I don’t know but it sounds like buzzing” i say shaking in fear. “I don’t like it let’s go” Annie sobs. “NO!!! We have to find Nicky!” I yell, surprised that I’m close to tears also. We cautiously aproach the corner. “Omg what’s that!!!” We both yell at the same time.

Judging criteria
-Must have at least on paragraph added on
-Must have your oc/persona somehow added into the story (don’t take away the other characters just add your own)

if you got happiness you have the harder emotion. You could still incorporate that into the story. They could maybe find a secret door to a fantasy world…
