Making an incomplete simple-code 3D engine

Hi guys
I’ve got an idea to make a three dee engine which is going to not to use those difficult sine-cosine which i don’t understand, and have the distance function there.

Details

No Sin Cos
Have the Distance variable
Be very simple snd open-source.
Ehh

Any ideas?

The thing about simple is that it works but it take tons of clones and therefore causes lag. The “complicated” ones are probably the easiest ones to make without major lag

You don’t have to but without clones it’s almost impossible

Maybe use the secret blocks to help? (Destroy)

I know that helped me clear the lag when using clones

oh like if you can’t see them you destroy them and when they come back into view you make them again?

i don’t know though
making a 3D engine is already hard on its own
idk how you would make one without sin/cos

You can’t un-destroy after using destroy.
To do that you’d have to just respawn more clones I think. Believe they’d have unique clone ids tho so it wouldn’t be undestroying

does making clones invisible reduce lag at all?

In my experience, no. I had to use the Destroy block to get rid of clones for my game to work (Surviv .io)

Nope, set invis doesn’t have the same lag reducing effect cuz it doesn’t change the number of objects in the project. Which destroy does – it reduces the objects, which clears up space and therefore lag
