I tried it with a random project JSON and it worked perfectly! Cool!

@THU @pomtl I’m thinking of adding a merge/combine feature! Basically where you can move all objects and code into and existing project! Only problem with this feature is that it will probably work with saving other people’s projects than merging that with a blank project resulting in basically copying the project with no watermark… Thoughts?

That would be super cool! I would really like to try that feature out. Have you shared this here yet?

Hold on you figured out how to add objects and code from one project into another?

How?

You put new prpject into a temporary text box remove all the uuid and stuff then make that a value and smoosh it on the existing code

Wait can you use any Json file?
@The_Crafty_Painter

Uhh, yes. Like json files that arent from hopscotch?

Copyright, is the problem with this. However I think it’s possible if you cut and paste JSON codes, and change objects’ ID’s and project data.

Yeah. Thats one of the reasons why I havent really worked on it, there seems to be no way to ensure it is their project and idk if it would carry over the remix symbol or not.

I’m super excited about this! Why isn’t it released yet?

There have been a few problems per say, the program cannot replace phrases for an unknown reason and I have not found a solution yet

Update Overview:
M.E.S Studio v1.1 will download with a readme text file and a folder called “Projects”. You will be able to change the Project folder location from inside M.E.S Studio. This folder is a good folder to put in your .hopscotch files as the editor will automatically detect the projects and will make them easier to load, you can also now drag files into the editor to load them. Saving projects will now by default save to the Projects folder but will still prompt a save location in case you don’t want them there.

Removed/Cancelled Features:
The Merge feature has been scrapped due to corrupting the original projects, not keeping the remix symbol and sometimes not even merging the project.

New Features:
-Drag and Drop Projects into Editor
-New “Project” Folder (see overview for details)
-Readme File
-GUI Revamp

Update Status: Almost Complete, But Still Taking Suggestions
(Also why is .text without the e censored? It’s a file format)
