You should only be able to login/signup using explore.gethopscotch.com/login or /signup
As the TOS States you need a hs account, if we used explore.gethopscotch.com/login it would be Way easier to enforce that rule
There is a guide on meta.discourse.org but I can’t seem to find it…
Don’t forget what audience Hopscotch mainly targets: “kids 8-16”
You have any detail as to what you mean?
it’s on propulse that some ppl don’t need to sign up
or i misread the topic? there’s no enough information in the OP
I believe jay is suggesting that we use the website they mentioned to log in to the forum
what’s tos, why it’s easier, what rule…
that’s why i said:
it doesn’t answer my question
Integrating with “OAuth” like this does take quite a bit of work on the development end, but I see what you mean, and I think that would be cool to eventually see implemented.
In case anyone else is confused, basically this but instead of those services it’s “Log in with Hopscotch” (and no user/pass on left) and it takes you to sign in on the page that Jay linked @ post 1
Yeah, this would be hard but cool to add
could you tell me where that is
I’m not saying its not in there im just curious where it is
Tap the menu in the top right corner → About → Terms of Service
I know where it is on the website/app i was just wondering where it stated that
I’m study terms of service and copyright laws so i was just curious
oh yea that thing
I don’t think I ever filled that out
i think this can be closed, as new members now need to provide their hs username when signing up
I think it’s still a viable idea, especially because not everyone actually puts a real username (no way to check automatically). I’ll leave it up to the creator of the topic to decide though (@Liquid)
It can stay, still would be helpful to login through hopscotch.
This idea is still valid, got ideas to improve this topic? Share!
Would someone using the Discourse Hub app still be able to log in?
